APPLICATIONS
XYLOFARM AQUA KILLER has been formulated for the insecticide treatment of timbers, which are affected or could be affected by wood boring insects and termites. Type of wood: All timber framing types (wood under shelter without any humidity risks) or framing lumber (excluding parts in contact with the ground). INSTRUCTION FOR USE
XYLOFARM AQUA KILLER is applied by brushing, double spraying or injection into the wood. Before applying any preservation ensure that the areas to be treated are adequately exposed and clean, remove heavily infested wood, frass and loose dust, preferably by vacuuming. Remove any paint or varnish finishes.
To achieve an effective treatment should be applied to all sides of the timber concerned. When treating roof spaces remove (or roll up and cover) any thermal insulation present to provide unhindered access to joists.
Preventative treatment: XYLOFARM AQUA KILLER can be applied by brush or low pressure spray at a rate of approximately 1Lt of diluted product per 6m2 of wood surface area (166gr/m2). Apply in 2 layers.
Curative treatment: 1) Inject deeply into rafters and elements of high section (framing lumber...) (20ml of the product ready for use per well). 2) Brushing or low pressure spraying all sides, ends, cuts, emphasizing the embedded parts and assemblies. Apply in 3 layers at a rate of approximately 1Lt of diluted product per 5m2 of wood surface area (200gr/m2).
NOTES
- Do not apply where the product during the application can reach surface watersThe time after which the area where the product has been applied is safe for use by humans and animals is after 48 hours depending on application conditions.
